Meetings on Library Renovations

Beginning Monday, the D.C. public library system will hold a final series of public meetings to solicit comments from the community on the proposed architecture and programs for four branch libraries that are being rebuilt.

Next week's meetings, all of which start at 7 p.m., will take place at the four libraries slated for reconstruction. Attendees will be shown architectural drawings and floor plans for the new buildings.

The meeting schedule is: Monday, Anacostia Neighborhood Library, 1800 Good Hope Rd. SE; Tuesday, Benning Neighborhood Library, 3935 Benning Rd. NE; Wednesday, Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library, 4450 Wisconsin Ave. NW; next Thursday, Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library, 1701 Eighth St. NW.
