Architects to Discuss Library Design Plans

Beginning tonight, the D.C. public library system will hold a series of meetings to inform residents in four District neighborhoods of plans to rebuild their community libraries. Architects will present and seek comment on their partially completed designs.

The libraries are Anacostia, Benning, Tenley-Friendship and Watha T. Daniel/Shaw. The first meeting is 7 p.m. tonight at Benning Library, 3935 Benning Rd. The schedule for the rest of the meetings follows: 7 p.m. Monday, Anacostia Library, 1800 Good Hope Rd. SE; 7 p.m. Tuesday, Tenley-Friendship Library, 4450 Wisconsin Ave. NW; 7 p.m. Wednesday, Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Library, 1701 Eighth St. NW.
