DC Public Library has shown the Shaw neighborhood its floor plans for the new Shaw Library.

The first time at a meeting on January 30, 2008 and then a new rendition at the next design meeting on June 23, 2008.

It's hard to tell how the floor plans have changed over this time. The problem, as highlighted by several people on several different occasions, was that the January floor plans as shown on the DCPL website were not readable due to pixelation.

Despite complaints, DCPL would not put up high-resolution images for people to understand what DCPL had in mind for the programming layout of the library. This problem festered until the new floor plans were put up on the DCPL website after July 25, 2008.

Here are the original floor plans taken directly from the DCPL website in early February 2008.
