SEPTEMBER 16, 2008
Some new Shaw Library design images put online nearly two weeks after 9/4/08 Meeting.

The first set of three floor plans has been edited by the Library Dynamos so that it can actually be somewhat legible. Unfortunately, DC Public Library staff have uploaded images that aren't nearly as clear as the ones shown on the website back in July.

SEPTEMBER 16, 2008
Some new Shaw Library Design images put online nearly two weeks after 9/4/08 Meeting.

The following set of three floor plans are directly from the DCPL website... can you read the floor labels well? Are the plans clear to you?
Even the scale, to figure out the dimensions of what we are looking at, is impossible to read on these images. WHY?

STREET LEVEL (live on DCPL website 9/16/08)

UPPER LEVEL (live on DCPL website 9/16/08)

LOWER LEVEL (live on DCPL website 9/16/08)

YOU CAN NOT READ THE SCALE ON THESE IMAGES -- SO ONE CAN NOT GET A FEEL FOR DIMENSION STILL, DESPITE THE COMMUNITY ASKING FOR SUCH ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SINCE JUNE.

For confirmation on these poor images, please go directly to the DCPL website and click on the images there.
