Developing and Sustaining a System of Adult Literacy for the District of Columbia

The Mayor's Adult Literacy Council discreetly published a long awaited report on DC's adult literacy problems and recommendations for solutions.

The report to Mayor Adrian M. Fenty is called, "Developing and Sustaining a System of Adult Literacy for the District of Columbia." The report happens to have a typo on the first page and is not visibly dated anywhere.

This adult literacy report is buried on the State Education Office website here. Because there was no apparent press conference or release about the report, one will be hard pressed to find any media coverage regarding this very important matter... bewildering.
